All net profits from the Powerhouse Paddle and Swim are used to fund ocean and water activities for the children of Del Mar and the greater San Diego area.  Our generous sponsors have assisted in providing scholarships for the Learn to Swim programs at the San Dieguito Boys and Girls Club and the Salvation Army.  Additionally, the Powerhouse Paddle and Swim Committee helps fund special events hosted and run by the Del Mar Lifeguards and Del Mar Lifeguard Association.
