All net profits from the Powerhouse Paddle and Swim are used to fund ocean and water activities for the children of Del Mar and the greater San Diego area.  Our generous sponsors have assisited in providing Learn to Swim lesson scholarships at the San Dieguito Boys and Girls Club and scholarships for deserving participants in the Del Mar Junior Lifeguard program.  Additionally the Powerhouse Paddle and Swim Committtee helps fund special events hosted and run by the Del Mar Lifeguards and Del Mar Lifeguard Association.
